Mountain Biking

The Arrowhead Trails

Located off Gatewood Road in Fayetteville, is thirteen miles of a stacked loop trail system that offers well packed turns, gorgeous scenery, plenty of rollers, and something for every level of mountain biker. The inner loop is short and easy, the middle loop is more technical and longer, and the outer loop is the most technical and takes the most time to complete.  The Arrowhead Trails can be linked to other nearby trails for endless possibilities.

The Arrowhead Trails was one of the largest youth service projects in the history of the National Park system. It took over 1000 volunteers and over 30,000 hours of service to build these trails. Trail maps are online at the National Park Service website and are available at the trail head. Below is a map to help you plan your trip. Plan your visit by visiting The National Park Service website.
